THERE IS NO PAIN FOR SPAIN
Els Espanyols celebrate their victory against The "Maleficio" of June the 22nd and The Penalty Shoot-Outs
Thanks to Arsenal's midfielder, Cesc Fábregas, Spain passes through to the semis. The Catalonian took the fifth and last penalty of the feared shoot-out, wrong-footed Italian keeper Buffon and scored the goal that shattered the "Bad Omen" Spain had, with the date of June 22nd, penalty shoot-outs and quarter-finals of major championships, to pieces. It had been 88 years without a victory against Italy in a competitve game too!!.
They better start thinking about the final. The Russians are dangerous but, taking into consideration that half the Turkish team is either sanctioned or injured, is an easy guess to asume that the Germas will go through them to the final as an easy walk in the park, literally; and as the Russians have already been beaten by Spain 4-1 in the group phase, the favorite draw for the final's got to be Spain-Germany. That would be a very good chance for Spain to reach the place they really and trully deserve having taken the world champions at their favorite game and beat them.
And that's the very top, that is!!
